Do not Go before the IRS without Representation, unless ...
Dealing with the IRS is challenging, stressful, and frustrating. It can destroy your life by causing your credit score to drop, your bank accounts to be drained, liens placed against your possessions, and your income and funds to be confiscated by a wage levy or a bank levy. You wouldn’t go to court without an attorney. So, why would you go before the IRS without representation? Solving tax problems is both an art and a science, and to get a good result requires an extensive knowledge of IRS processes and procedures. However, if you are not able to afford representation, your tax issues are not complex, and you have enough time and energy to devote yourself to learning the process, we highly recommend that you visit our Resources pages, equip yourself with tools and knowledge along with our advice and analysis, and represent yourself before the IRS like a pro.
